Dr. Peter, a seasoned professional whose journey in the veterinary world began with a BSc in Human Biology & Physiology at WITS. Following this, he pursued his passion by completing his BSVc in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Pretoria, graduating at the end of 2005. Dr. Peter’s dedication and thirst for knowledge led him to our practice, where he started working immediately under the mentorship of the esteemed Dr. Hector Dreyer.

In 2013, Dr. Peter’s commitment and expertise were duly recognized when he became an equal share partner in the practice. His professional journey intertwines with his personal life, as he is happily married to Dr. Alison Thysse, whom he met during his final year of study. Together, they are blessed with two beautiful girls.

Dr. Peter’s interests extend beyond the clinic, ranging from family time to a fascination with LEGO, technology, woodwork, metalwork, and general DIY projects. His passions mirror his approach to veterinary care, showcasing a diverse and comprehensive understanding of life.

Known for his hardworking nature, extensive knowledge, and sympathetic demeanor, Dr. Peter is a true people-person, well-loved and respected in our community.
